Washington Park Campground is a beautiful camping area located in Washington that offers stunning views of the Olympic Mountains and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The campground is conveniently located near many points of interest, such as the Port Angeles Waterfront Trail, Hurricane Ridge, and the Olympic National Park. The campground offers a wide range of amenities, including picnic tables, fire pits, restrooms, showers, and a playground for children. There are a total of 105 campsites that can accommodate both tents and RVs.

The area is open for both reservations and first-come, first-serve camping. Visitors can make reservations online or in person at the park's entrance. An interesting fact about the area is that a lighthouse was originally built on Ediz Hook in 1865, but was replaced by a new lighthouse in 1908, which is still in operation today.

The best time of year to visit is in the summer months, from June to September, with average temperatures ranging from the mid-60s to the mid-70s. However, visitors should be prepared for cooler temperatures at night and should bring warm clothing.
