Toadstool Camping Area, located in the Oglala National Grassland in Nebraska, offers campers stunning views of unique rock formations, canyons, and prairies. The nearby Hudson-Meng Bison Kill Site and Agate Fossil Beds National Monument are popular attractions for visitors to the area.

The campground offers vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings, but there is no potable water available on-site, so visitors must bring their own. The campground operates on a first-come-first-serve basis, so it is recommended to arrive early to secure a spot. There are 22 campsites available at the Toadstool Camping Area.

An interesting fact about the area is that Toadstool Geologic Park, which is nearby, was once the site of a prehistoric sea. Fossils of ancient sea creatures can still be found in the park today.
