Trego Park is a 20-acre camping area located in the central portion of Missouri. The park is situated on the banks of the Osage Fork River, offering visitors stunning views of the water and the surrounding hills.

Nearby points of interest include the Lake of the Ozarks, which is just a short drive away. The lake is a popular destination for boating, fishing, and water sports. Additionally, the park is only a few miles from downtown Tuscumbia, which offers a variety of shopping and dining options.

The campground amenities include 22 electric campsites, modern restrooms and shower facilities, a dump station, and a playground. The campsites are spacious and offer plenty of shade, and there is also a shelter available for group gatherings.

Interesting facts about the area include the fact that Trego Park was once a popular spot for picnickers and swimmers in the early 1900s. In the 1930s, the park was acquired by the Missouri State Parks system and has been a popular camping destination ever since.

Average temperatures during these seasons range from the mid-50s to mid-70s. Summers can be hot and humid, with temperatures in the 80s and 90s, while winters can be cold and snowy, with temperatures dropping into the 20s and 30s.
