The Black Mountain-Buncombe County Recreation and Parks Department operates the BPW Camping Area in North Carolina. The site offers 46 first-come, first-served campsites with access to impressive views of the surrounding Black Mountains. The best time to visit is between May and October when temperatures average around 70 degrees Fahrenheit during the day and 50 degrees Fahrenheit at night.
