Swan Falls Idaho Power Camping Area is located in southwestern Idaho, near the Snake River. The camping area offers scenic views of the river, as well as the surrounding mountains and desert. There are several nearby points of interest, including hiking trails, fishing spots, and the Swan Falls Dam.

The campground amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilets, and potable water. The campsite is open year-round and is available on a first-come-first-serve basis. There are a total of 21 campsites available, which can accommodate tents, RVs, and trailers.

An interesting fact about the area is that it was once a popular spot for gold mining during the 1860s. Today, visitors can still find remnants of the mining era, such as old cabins and mining equipment.

The best time of year to visit Swan Falls Idaho Power Camping Area is during the spring and fall months, when the weather is mild and the crowds are smaller. The average temperature during these months is around 60-70°F. However, the summer months can be quite hot, with temperatures often reaching over 100°F during the day.
